When do ticket sales begin and when do they end?

Ticket sales begin at noon on Monday, November 4, and end either when they sell out or the event ends, whichever comes first. Visit our Tickets page for more information, including the Election Day sale.

Are tickets refundable?

GW Inaugural Ball tickets are non-refundable. Visit the tickets page for information about transferring tickets.

What’s included with a ticket purchase?

The ticket price includes free shuttle service from campus to the Omni Shoreham Hotel, hors d’oeurves, desserts, soft drinks, and entertainment.

Is there parking available at the Omni Shoreham Hotel for GW Inaugural Ball guests?

Who is invited to attend the GW Inaugural Ball?

GW students, faculty, staff, alumni, and families may bring a non-GW guest to the Inaugural Ball.  That guest must have their own ticket and arrive at the event with their GW-affiliated guest. 

Is there a dress code for the GW Inaugural Ball?

The GW Inaugural Ball is a formal event. Guests should wear what they consider to be formal wear.
