Tickets

A ticket is required to attend the GW Inaugural Ball. 

The ticket price includes, free shuttle service from campus to the Omni Shoreham Hotel, endless bites, a free drink ticket (for guests 21 years or older), live entertainment, a free gift, and an #OnlyAtGW experience!

Ticket sales begin Monday, November 4, at noon, and end either when they sell out or the event ends, whichever comes first.

GW will cover the 3% service charge usually applied to ticket sales; it will not be passed on to guests.

Purchase Your Tickets

Non-GW Guest Tickets

GW students, faculty, staff, alumni, and families may bring a non-GW guest to the Inaugural Ball.  That guest must have their own ticket and arrive at the event with their GW-affiliated guest.

Ticket Purchases and Requirements

Ticket purchases will begin at noon on Monday, November 4, for GW students, faculty, staff, alumni, and families.

GW Arts Account Manager, powered by Ticketmaster, is GW’s official ticket marketplace for Inaugural Ball. If you purchase tickets through a third-party reseller, the university cannot guarantee the validity of your tickets and your tickets may not be honored at the door.

An account is required to purchase tickets.

• If you have an existing GW Account Manager account, used to purchase tickets to GW Athletics events, you may use those login credentials to purchase GW Inaugural Ball tickets.
• If you have never purchased GW Athletics tickets through Account Manager, but you have a Ticketmaster account under any email address, you may use those login credentials to purchase GW Inaugural Ball tickets via GW Arts Account Manager.
• If you have never purchased any tickets through Ticketmaster, or any GW Athletics tickets through Account Manager, you must create an account using any email address by navigating to GW Arts Account Manager, clicking Sign In, and then clicking Sign Up.

There is a limit of two tickets per account holder.

Your mobile number will only be used by GW to provide you with more information about the GW Inaugural Ball. 

Tickets can be purchased online using Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express.

Ticket Refunds or Transfers

GW Inaugural Ball tickets are non-refundable.

If you wish to transfer your ticket:

1. Sign into AccountManager.
2. Go to your events, select the event you’re transferring tickets for, then click Transfer. Select the tickets you'd like to transfer.
3. Enter your recipient's information.
4. Tap Transfer.

Will Call

We will not hold tickets for guests. All guests must present their ticket, not a screenshot, on a mobile device for admission to the event.

Your phone is your ticket. Screenshots of a ticket will not work to get you in. Before arriving at the Inaugural Ball, login to your GW Arts Account Manager using the web browser on your phone, and download your mobile ticket to your phone's wallet.

Onsite Purchases at the GW Inaugural Ball

No tickets will be sold at the GW Inaugural Ball in the Omni Shoreham Hotel.  If tickets are available, guests may purchase them online.
